Bhagat Singh Essay In English in 200 Words

Bhagat Singh was a brave and wise man from his very childhood. He was born in a patriotic family. He was very much influenced by shaheed Kartar Singh's heroism and sacrifice. Under such impressions, he dreamt of a free India even for the sake of his life. Every drop of his blood cried for freedom. 

The history of Bhagat Singh's role in India's freedom movement tracks back to the year 1926 when Bhagat Singh and his friends founded an association named 'Nayawan Bharat Sabha' for the welfare of people. In 1928 this organization became more influensive and thus it was named 'Hindustan Socialist Republican Association.'

 It was an event of great shock for the entire nation when Lala Lajpat Rai died in lathi-charge by police while peacefully demonstrating on 30th October 1928 against the arrival of Simon Commission. Bhagat Singh and his followers were greatly shocked by Lajaji's death and they pledged to take revenge. On 17th October 1928, they murdered A.S.P, the murderer of Lajpat Rai. 

On 8th April 1929, they threw two bombs in the Assembly hall and raised the slogan 'Inkalab Zindabad' Now they surrendered themselves to the police to die a death of martyrs. They were given death sentence on 23rd March 1931, by a Special tribunal, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Raj Guru embraced death, without a mark of fear on their faces, hearts, minds, or souls.
