Summer Season Essay
India is the land of various seasons. Here season is not the same throughout the country. When it is chilly cold in Kashmir, Shimla, or Mussoorie, the plains remain hot. When there is winter on the west coast of India, heavy rain falls on the coast of the coromandel. The summer is the hottest season of the whole year.
The sun-rays fall perpendicularly on the earth. The days are so hot that it is impossible to come out of the house. These days are very idle and lazy. We like to drink cold water and shakes. Small rivers, ponds, etc. become dry in this season. There is a scarcity of water and electricity everywhere.
The grass becomes withered and insufficient. Beasts also pant for breath. They seek a shady place to sit. The birds hide themselves in the branches of trees. Ponds and tanks dry up. The sky looks copper-red. The earth becomes so warm that nobody can walk barefoot.
Due to so much heat, schools and colleges hours are changed. All institutions work in the morning. There is a long summer vacation in schools. In shops and offices, khuskhus curtains are used.
Electricity is the main boon of summer. Nobody can live without fans, coolers, or air conditioners. This hot season is the season of best fruits like mangoes, watermelons, melons, oranges, and other tasty fruits. These juicy fruits quench our thirst during hot days. The best time is the morning time in the summer ‘season.
People want to complete their work before midday because, after twelve, the sun is in full bloom. Cool breeze blooms in the early hours of the day. The days are long and nights are short during the summer season. People see with tempting eyes towards the sky and pray for some showers of rain. In spite of so much hot, we enjoy this season by eating Ice-creams and juicy fruits.
